The living room, to the left of the entrance, houses the 1876 Bradbury Square Grand piano donated by the Iman family. The gold Sofa and Chair belonged to the Chance family as did the 2 large mirrors. Over the fireplace is a painting of A.B. Chance, founder of the Chance Company. On west wall is a portrait of F. Gano Chance one of the sons instrumental in growth of the Company.

The fainting couch was donated by the Harold Elliott family. Ladies would recline on couch to regain breath when corsets were too tight.

Mr. Fountain’s framed pocket watch on marble top table is said to have been traded for a horse early 1800’s when a young man was traveling west in search of gold.
